The Reel Family Foundation believes that each human being is created in the image and likeness of God, and therefore should live in dignity and grow in power and goodness from conception to natural death.  With this in mind the Foundation will support the following causes:

Education that in addition to providing a strong foundation in arts and sciences, fosters development of the virtues of faith, hope, charity, prudence, justice, temperance and fortitude;

Dignity for the victims of persecution, deprivation, illness or injury, through relief of their suffering to the greatest possible extent, and assistance in bearing what cannot be relieved;

Prayer. “Each one, mindful that the force of the pure and constant prayer of just men and women is great, is exhorted not to neglect prayer. Prayer, like a faithful ambassador, obtains what has been asked for and penetrates where flesh cannot.” (St. Francis of Paola)

The directors and officers of the foundation pray and wish that:

Those leading the works supported by the foundation maintain a deep trust in Divine Providence, understanding that their works depend on God and their confidence in Him; and furthermore strive to live out the Will of God in accord with the teachings of the Roman Catholic Church.

The directors and officers of the foundation actively participate, to the extent possible, in the works that the foundation supports.

Prayer in Memory of William J. Reel

Lord, we believe you received William J. Reel into the fullness of Your presence on May 3, 2010.  We are grateful for all of the good he did for us and for others during his life on earth, and for his prayers on our behalf now that he is with You.  Please inspire us to remain faithful to You forever, and to love one another as You love us.  Amen.
